Our story so far…

Both from Ontario it was our love for exploration and travel that brought us together, we met while volunteering at a one of a kind art Installation in Nova Scotia. Since then, we have been living a semi-nomadic life exchanging work for accommodation around the country and around the world.

Many of the locations where we have visited have had animal care component but it was while we were volunteering in Portugal at an animal rescue where we really found our calling. For 6 months we lived with and took care of dozens of dogs, cats, horses, chickens, an angry cockatoo and a very bossy donkey, many with special needs and specific dietary concerns.

We loved every minute of it.

It taught us first hand the importance a home is for an animal, how a disruption in their routine can be stressful for them and the value of companionship. Thankfully we were happy to see many of the animals we cared for find loving homes and when we returned back to Canada pet care became our main focus .

If you are considering boarding your animals while you are away please consider having us stay in your house as a companion to your pet. Your pets wellbeing is our upmost priority and you will have the peace of mind that someone is looking after your property as well.
